Rockstar Anirudh Ravichandran had recently taken to his Twitter handle to announce his next after the massive success of 'Petta'. Over the years, he has been releasing single tracks as Valentine’s Day specials for over four years now. In 2015, he released 'AAKKO', 'Avalukena' in 2016, 'Onnume Aagala' in 2017 and 'Julie' in 2018.

Earlier, director Vignesh Shivn who has penned the lyrics for many hit singles said that he has penned the lyrics of the first single titled ‘Marakkavillaye’ from the Tamil version of 'Jersey'. Anirudh himself has composed music and crooned for this song.

Anirudh made his Tollywood debut last year with Pawan Kalyan starrer 'Agnyaathavaasi' and now he's ready with his second Telugu movie 'Jersey'. The film is a cricket-based movie directed by Gautam and is set to release on April 19.

Meanwhile, he has two big projects in the pipeline, one with Superstar Rajinikanth's film with AR Murugadoss and the other is Kamal Haasan's ‘Indian 2’ with Shankar.
